Cut the silence out of your videos in seconds
Pauseless finds every pause in your recording and removes it. Send the result to Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or CapCut, or export the finished video. Your files never leave your computer.

How it works
-
Drop your recording
Riverside, Zoom, OBS or phone videos. Pauseless reads only the audio to find the quiet parts, so even long files are ready in seconds.
-
Tune the cuts
Set the silence threshold (or let auto pick it), the minimum pause length and how much breathing room to keep. The timeline and preview update instantly.
-
Export
Get an editable timeline for your editor, or render the finished MP4 straight to your disk.
Works with the editor you already use
Every cut stays editable. Open the timeline, nudge a cut, keep editing.

Private by design
Most online tools upload your video to their servers. Pauseless does all the work on your own computer, using the video engine built into your browser. There is no server to send anything to.
That makes it fast, keeps client and guest recordings confidential, and means it keeps working when you are offline.
Questions
Are my videos uploaded anywhere?
No. Your video is read from your disk, processed on your computer and never sent to a server.
Is it really free?
Yes. Pauseless is free and open source under the MIT license. No account, no watermark, no time limit.
Which browsers work?
Chrome and Edge on Windows and macOS. They include the WebCodecs engine Pauseless needs. Safari and Firefox are not supported yet.
How long does exporting take?
Editor timelines are ready instantly. Rendering a finished MP4 re-encodes the video, so it takes a few minutes for a long recording, depending on your computer.
How do I open the project in CapCut?
Unzip the downloaded folder into CapCut's drafts folder (shown in CapCut settings) and restart CapCut. The project appears in your list.
Can I install it like an app?
Yes. In Chrome or Edge, use the install icon in the address bar. It then opens in its own window and works offline.
